On May 19th, I participated, for the second time, in the Tour de Cure cycling event to help raise funds to find a cure for diabetes. I set an initial goal of raising $1,500 but thanks to the wonderful generosity of family and friends, I was able toraise over $2,000! This put me in the top 10 fundraisers, out of the 650 riders that participated. During the 4 and 1/2 hour ride, I maintained an average speed of 18 MPH.
